Caring for the Earth at the Peachtree Creek Greenway

PCGI’s Interim Executive Director Lauren Kiefer and Volunteer Director Ronda Fox enjoyed a wonderful walk on the Peachtree Creek Greenway with Myrtle Lewin and Joanna Kobylivker from J-CAN (Jewish Climate Action Network). They visited the PCG to evaluate the trail as a prospective location for a reverse-Tashlikh ceremony.

The Tashlikh is a Jewish religious ritual that involves atoning for sins via a body of water. In this case, Jewish congregations from around the metro will be coming together for a river clean-up day to pull trash out of our water systems and to be reminded about the importance of caring for the earth.
